own your story, don't let it own you

wasn’t supposed to make it out, but deco

hi!

if you have landed here it means you want to know a little more about me - before i go into anything, i want to thank you for being here.

i am an intuitive healer who uses life coaching as the container to serve you. however, i want to say that labels have their own type of traps - as much as i am a coach and a healer, i am also many other things.

i take on the form of what spirit needs me to as i bridge the gap between the spiritual realm and the physical realm. for as long as i can remember i have been clairsentient and claircognizant - meaning i have always had a clear sense of feeling and a clear sense of knowing.

these extrasensory abilities got me out of a lot of trouble growing up - however, i have had my fair share of traps that i had to find my way out of - and i am continuously doing so - as long as we are breathing our work here is never finished.

my story begins with immigrant parents from Somalia - a war-torn country - navigating the world to find a safe place to call home.

my earliest years were amongst some of our most unstable years, my parents struggled to find stability - which resulted in many years of homelessness and temporary living situations. it wasn’t until i was 14 years old that my parents finally settled in a house and found some sort of stability.

i relied heavily on the heavenly realms to get me through my early years. i remember vividly being taken on trips via out of body experiences that showed me that heaven was accessible from anywhere that i was - no matter my external circumstances.

and although my experiences with the spirit world contradicted what was happening in my physical world - i realize now that the instability i encountered in early in my life, was exactly what i needed, to learn the lessons that have led me to unlock my spiritual gifts.

experiencing the perspective of my Somali parents while living in America and being programmed with a different set of rules/doctrines via school and community - made navigating life very difficult. i didn’t know then but this is what led me to my own liberation.

having two different perspectives helped me understand the nature of humanity - having very different belief systems being poured into me, helped me pinpoint the illusions in both of them.

i owe my entire life to my story, however, i am no longer owned by my story.

i believe our stories own us until we break them down, fully understand them, and release them to a higher power.

this is when we gain access to choice - the most powerful gift bestowed upon us all.

i am honored and grateful to walk this earth with you, thank you for choosing to be here.

xx, salma

thank you for investing in yourself and looking for resources to remind you of your truth and power as we enter this new era. i thank you because i know how difficult it is to step outside of your comfort zone and to look for support outside of yourself and as you land on this webpage you are doing exactly that - so congrats!

my name is salma - i am the founder and writer behind this site, get out the trap. i like to think of our world as a maze with many layers (kind of like a Russian doll) and these layers can either be moved through freely or can trap us.

my work is to help you find where you are trapped and guide you through the process of releasing, surrendering and letting go.
