if you could be anything, what would you be?

it is a fact that most people don’t recognize their magic.
i often ask people what they would do if they could do anything and most of them don’t have an answer.
i remember being a teenager and discussing big ideas with my siblings. we talked about taking ownership and executing ideas that can change the world. and my dad would often say “that is only a dream.”
aren’t all innovators dreamers?
you too have a dream. sometimes it is drowned out by all the noise in the world. all the things you “should” be. but the dream isn’t anyone else’s. it belongs to you.
it is imperative that you reconnect with your dream. it is the reason you are here. you are here incarnated at this time, in this world, for the purpose of living out this dream.
whatever it may be, it is unique to you.
you’ll know you have found it when it lights up your heart and it makes you feel so good about your existence and everyday life.
when we are disconnected from our dream we become more susceptible to fear.
look at children, for example, they are fearless.
they love life. they are one with nature. their curiosity is what creates their fascination.
i love spending time with children because their innocence is what allows them to live a life in alignment with God.
we are the kids. they are us. we were never supposed to grow out of “alignment.”
when people tell you to grow up or get a real job, what they are really saying is “it’s time to join the illusionary force, it is time to give yourself up to fear.”
it’s an unspoken rule but growing up means sacrificing what makes you truly happy. it means “sucking it up.” it means doing what you don’t want to, to make others happy or to fulfill your responsibility.
this is one of the most disturbing paradigms that have become “norm” in today's society.
it is no wonder most people walk around with their heads down and shoulders slumped.
magic is your middle name. magic is what you are.
we have dimmed our magic so much to the point that we are living in dis-ease. we are giving away our life force, our energy, for the sake of being accepted into a society that doesn’t fuck with us.
to get out the trap is to reconnect with the part of you that knows what you want. that knows your connection to the Creator.
when we were kids our favorite question to answer was “what will you be when you grow up?” and this is because it allowed us to be the dreamers we have always been. it allowed us the capacity to tap into the abundance of possibilities that were available to us.
the only thing is… these possibilities are still fully available to us.
so ask yourself this… if i could do anything in this life, what would i do? who would i be? what would i add to humanity? how would i share my gifts with the world?
and don’t answer these questions using your conscious mind. it doesn’t know.
instead, let the answers flow to you. in the shower, in a dream, while you’re driving or washing the dishes; they will come.
your only job is to ask the questions.
