NO ONE IS COMING TO GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO LIVE YOUR LIFE

stop asking for permission.
easier said than done, for sure -- but once we become aware of a pattern, we no longer let it subconsciously ru(i)n our lives.
for the most part, we all went through the conditioning of grade school - where we were taught that in order to do or say anything we had to first get permission from the authority figure (the teacher who stood above us all).
even the set up of the classroom conditions us to believe that we are less than, that we are second to the authority figure and that we aren’t capable enough to do the job without it being checked off by someone else.
we then go into adulthood with this conditioning and it is mirrored in the workplace. “work your way to the top” they say.
all in hopes that eventually you will be given that authority position - and then you get to sit back and just check people all day (or so your ego thinks).
the ego loves this. the ego lives for this. the ego doesn’t recognize that - it’s usually those who are in the positions of power that are much more miserable than those who are working to get there.
most people don’t actually ever get to that place, they settle for whatever role they are given.
comfort kicks in and anything outside of that comfort zone becomes too anxiety-provoking to even attempt.
but those who do get to that space of authority find themselves feeling emptier than before.
why is this?
because the whole system is built on a rotten foundation.
one that tells you that authority is based on what you have achieved. one that tells you that in order for you to be someone in society, you must strive for it.
this is complete and utter bullshit because you already ARE someone.
you are the AUTHORity of your story.
you get to choose the life that you want to live.
you get to make your own rules.
you get to use your imagination to create.
God has bestowed that power unto you so that you can use it, not only to change your own life but to show humanity what is possible.
no one is coming to give you permission to live your life.
you have to choose to live it and to live it fully and unabashedly.
give yourself the permission you have been looking for.
say YES to that goal.
say YES to that dream.
say YES to that vision.
that YES will be the end of waiting - that YES will be you opening the door for YOURSELF.
remember that you never need to know the how ... that’s God’s job.
you just need to say YES to yourself.
simple yet so radical.
