our deepest fear is being powerful beyond measure

yesterday i wrote about filling your own cup so you can give from the overflow. ⁣

it is very difficult to fill your cup if you are constantly overstimulated. in today's world, there is a war on attention. ⁣

⁣

attention is the true currency. whatever has your attention, has your time. and without time and attention, you can not use your energy to create. ⁣

⁣

keyword here is create. creation is the gift that we have been given. we have the capacity to think of something and then work towards cultivating that thing into physicality. this is true POWER. ⁣

⁣

understand that this war on your time, energy and attention isn’t one that is registered on a physical level; it is a spiritual war. ⁣

⁣

if you don’t recognize your attention is the basis for your ability to create, you will allow distractions into your life. ⁣

⁣

we do this because we don’t believe we are good enough. we don’t believe we deserve our own power. we literally give it away every single day and choose to be oblivious to it. ⁣

⁣

Marianne Williamson says “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”⁣

⁣

power is a scary thing. ⁣

⁣

it is the knowledge that we won’t let anything stand in the way of our highest good, not even ourselves. ⁣

⁣

power is to know thyself. ⁣

⁣

and one who knows himself, can not be disturbed by the drama of this world.⁣

⁣

but the ego loves drama. so the ego doesn’t want you to tap into the powers of your spirit because it knows that the spirit can not be affected by worldly affairs. ⁣

⁣

in order to find true peace and fulfillment, we have to choose to be powerful. we have to accept that most people won’t be able to handle our power; in fact, most people will dismiss it as crazy or evil. ⁣

⁣

powerful people are considered evil because people can’t control those who are powerful. most people are controlled by their lower selves or egos. and this controlled self is projected outwardly so that there is a hive mind. and anything that isn’t part of this collective ego is considered “evil.” ⁣

⁣

summing it up; someone who can not be controlled is a threat to someone who is. ⁣

⁣

pay attention to what has your attention right now. ⁣

⁣

ask to be shown where you are giving away your attention because you have been conditioned to be afraid of your power. ⁣

⁣

God will show up for you because you are on the journey. you are choosing to see things for what they are. you are choosing to have faith in a world that is so afraid of “different.” you are walking away from the hive mind and starting to think for yourself. remember during these times, you will be tested. people will question you and your “new” beliefs. they will tell you that you have lost your way or that you shouldn’t be so “naive.” they will try to project their fears and shortcomings onto you. you must not be bothered by it. you have already found the way. you are already on the journey. YOU have chosen truth. ⁣

do not spend your time trying to save people either. ⁣

⁣

just speak your truth and be a light for those who decide they also want to find their truth. ⁣

⁣

we are all in this life together but we can’t control anyone. as much as we are all connected, every individual has free will. ⁣

⁣

those who fear their shadows will project those same shadows. but for those who know the light, know that the shadow follows the light. ⁣

⁣

these things are one. ⁣
