your story becomes your gift when you let go of your attachment to it

you can’t do something for someone else that you haven’t done for yourself. your deepest wound is also your biggest gift if you don’t let it make you bitter; if you decide that your wounds won’t define you, but rather inspire you.
this is how the phoenix rises up from the ashes.
the most inspiring people in our world have some of the most tragic stories but they didn’t fall victim to their stories. they didn’t allow their stories to define them. instead, they told their stories and by doing so, they rose above them.
we don’t control the experiences of our early lives. one can say you choose your parents and your experiences before you incarnate, but even if that is true, the terms are you have to forget before you enter this earthly realm.
the emphasis is always on our early lives because we are completely dependent on our caregivers. we don't have the free will that we have when we are adults. most of the patterns we live out are formed during these early years which means our stories start here.
every one of us has a story.
and laced with these stories are moments of trauma. how big or how small isn't relevant to the subconscious mind. it can’t tell the difference between what is real and what is imagined, everything is real to it.
when i look at people these days, i can see exactly where they are blocked. where they are holding onto their story. where they are draining themselves and their power.
i can only do this because i have done it for myself and continue to do it for myself daily.
when we clear out the programming that lies in our subconscious mind, we are removing dense energy. the lighter we become, the more we can connect to our gifts.
the gifts we have to share with humanity vary, but the underlying theme is always the same. people need to be inspired. people need to see you in your power so that they can catch a glimpse of what it would be like if they were in their power. people need to see that they can beat the odds, that anything is possible.
everyone wants to change the world. but the world changes when you do. you create a ripple effect every single time you clear out density within your own energetic field. you change what is possible for other humans.
in the middle of the hero’s journey is the death and rebirth process which creates the transformation. your transformation is what you bring to the world. that is your gift.
when you die to your story, the story remains … you just come out a person who is no longer attached; who is no longer weighed down.
the journey never stops. we keep cycling around, with new transformations come new insights.
showing up for ourselves is showing up for the world.
it is difficult to die to our stories because we think we will lose them.
you won’t.
the only thing you will lose is the control you’ve given your story all these years.
you will gain all the power you gave up. and this will give you the freedom to tell your story without it affecting you. without you holding onto the pain it has caused you.
you will be able to extract the gold without being distracted by the trauma.
your story may have been written at a time when you didn’t have the power to change anything in your direct environment but that's only because you needed the contrast. you needed to feel powerlessness to KNOW your power.
everything that happens in your life IS a byproduct of your story.
life will mirror it back to you. every. single. day.
every day is a chance to look at it, accept it, and release your attachment to it.
by doing so, you tap into what you need the most and by giving that to yourself, you give it to the world.
that's a win/win.
